Easee One
The Scandinavian all-rounder. Compact, quietly styled, and packed with smart charging tech we fit more than any other charger.
- WiFi
- 4G eSIM
- Untethered
- App control
The value smart charger with a future proof spec sheet. Solar surplus charging, WiFi, Ethernet and its own 4G eSIM, OCPP 2.0.1 and hardware that is already V2G ready. On paper it embarrasses chargers costing considerably more.
Based on a simple installation: a spare way on your existing fuse board, 10 metres of cable, clipped. If your board is full or the run is longer we will tell you before any work starts. Final price confirmed after a photo survey. No surprises on the day.
Every figure checked against the manufacturer datasheet by the engineers who install the Nexblue Point 2.

Figures from the NexBlue Point 2 (UK) product sheet V2.0, checked by our install team.
The myNexBlue app runs the Point 2 from anywhere, with a trick most budget chargers miss: local Bluetooth control that keeps working even when the internet does not. EcoPilot schedules charging at the lowest cost, solar surplus mode uses your excess generation, and the whole household can share access.
Nexblue is the newest name on this page, a Swedish company building chargers with a spec sheet that reads two price brackets above where it sells. Triple connectivity with its own 4G eSIM, solar surplus charging, OCPP 2.0.1 and V2G ready hardware are features the established brands charge a premium for or do not offer at all.
The faceted Space Black body splits opinion in a good way. It looks like a piece of design rather than a white utility box, and the modular backplate makes installation and any future swap remarkably quick.
The honest caveats are the ones that come with youth: no native Octopus or OVO integration yet, and a shorter UK track record than the rest of this page. As the budget pick it is a lot of charger for the money, and we would rather fit this than an unknown import.
V2G stands for vehicle to grid: using the energy stored in your car battery to power your home or sell back to the grid. The Point 2 hardware supports ISO 15118, the standard V2G is built on, so it is positioned for that future without needing replacement.
V2G also depends on your car and your energy supplier, so treat it as future proofing rather than a feature you switch on today.
No. It carries WiFi, an Ethernet port and its own built in 4G eSIM, so it holds a connection whatever your home broadband does. That triple redundancy is unusual at any price, let alone the budget end.
Yes. Solar surplus charging is built in, using the included CT to measure your generation and divert the excess into the car.
For the money, yes. It is TUV certified, compliant with the UK Smart Charge Point Regulations, and specified above its price on connectivity and future readiness. What it lacks is native smart tariff integration and a long UK track record, which is exactly why it sits as our value pick rather than our headline recommendation.
Every charger on this page comes with the same survey, installation by our own engineers, certification and aftercare. Only the hardware changes.
