EV-ON Group Ltd ("evon", "we", "us") designs, installs and manages EV charging and solar systems. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our services, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to ev-on.co.uk and to enquiries you make with us by phone or email.
Who we are
EV-ON Group Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at info@ev-on.co.uk or on 020 7101 4206.
What we collect and why
Enquiry details. When you submit our contact form or call us, we collect your name, contact details and the information you give us about your site or home. We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare surveys and quotes, and deliver our services. This processing is based on taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Customer records. If you become a customer, we hold the records needed to deliver and support your installation: site details, system specifications, grant application information where we handle a claim for you, and billing records. Grant applications are shared with the relevant government body, such as OZEV, as part of the claim.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, page views, approximate location, and how visitors found us. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us. See the cookie policy for the detail and your choices.
Where your information goes
- HubSpot — our customer relationship system. Contact form submissions create a contact record and enquiry there.
- Google Workspace — enquiry notifications and our internal record keeping (including a spreadsheet log of enquiries).
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes form submissions in transit.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
- Government grant bodies — where we prepare a grant claim on your behalf, the details the scheme requires.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records that do not become projects are kept for up to two years so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Customer and installation records are kept for the life of the system we support, plus the periods UK tax and warranty law require. Analytics data is retained on Google Analytics default terms.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, and object to or restrict our use of it. Email info@ev-on.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version.
