Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page lists what ev-on.co.uk uses and how to control it.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, roughly where visitors are, and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies (names beginning _ga) that give your browser an anonymous identifier. We use this data in aggregate to improve the site. It does not tell us who you are.
Analytics stays switched off until you accept it. Google Analytics does not load and sets no cookies unless you choose Accept on the banner shown on your first visit. Choosing Reject means it never loads at all, and the site works exactly the same either way. We run no advertising or remarketing tags on this site.
Functional storage
The site itself stores minimal data in your browser to make pages work, such as remembering interface preferences. Nothing in this category tracks you across other websites.
One cookie in this category is always set: evon_consent, which records the analytics choice you made so we do not ask again on every page. It holds only the choice and the date, expires after six months, and is the cookie that lets us honour a Reject.
Third party requests
Some page resources load from third parties: fonts from Google Fonts and images from Cloudinary. These are content requests rather than tracking cookies, though the providers see your IP address as part of serving the files, as with any web request.
How to control cookies
Your choice can be changed at any time. Select , which is also in the footer of every page, and the banner comes back. Choosing Reject after a previous Accept stops analytics immediately.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site keeps working without analytics cookies. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google's opt out tool.
