The Timeline, Stage by Stage
The survey starts everything, one visit, and the grant application requires it anyway. Application preparation takes days with our pack, approval typically lands within a couple of weeks, and the installation window gets booked against your calendar, usually the next school holiday.
On site, wall mounted units on a nearby supply finish in a day or two. Car park pedestals with trenching run three to five days depending on distance and surface. Commissioning, platform setup and the staff onboarding session happen before handover, so the system is live and understood before the car park refills.
What Stretches It
Three things add weeks rather than days. Listed building consent where it applies, add eight to twelve weeks in parallel. Network operator involvement on larger projects, occasionally a capacity study. And holiday calendars themselves, summer slots book up months out, so a school aiming for August needs the survey done by spring.
Grant vouchers carry redemption windows too, which is why we sequence the application against a real installation date rather than applying speculatively.
