Where Charging Fits the Strategy
The Department for Education expects every school to have a climate action plan, and most plans are strong on energy and weak on transport, because transport feels outside the school’s control. Charging changes that. A teacher who can charge at work makes the EV switch years earlier, and every switched commute is carbon the plan can count.

A live charging installation is a working dataset on the school’s own site. Energy delivered by hour, seasonal solar patterns where panels feed the site, cost per mile against a petrol car, all real numbers pupils can chart in maths, geography and science. Eco councils get a project that is not a poster. We have seen schools build an entire enterprise unit around setting the public charging tariff.
