Government Grant

Information About OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)

With the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme, you can reduce the cost of your work place charging solution by up to £14,000.

WCS is a voucher-based scheme designed to provide eligible applicants with support towards the costs of the purchase and installation of EV chargepoints.
The grant entitles applicants up to a maximum of £350 saving for each chargepoint installed with up to a maximum of 40 across all sites for each applicant.
The Workplace Charging Scheme is open to all registered businesses, Fleet owners and the public sector who meet the following criteria detailed in our online Survey.

Tax Benefits

For company car drivers and fleet operators choosing an electric car from April 2020, there will be zero tax on Benefit in Kind (BIK) during 2020 / 2021. This zero rate also applies to hybrid vehicles with emissions from 1 - 50g/km and a pure electric range of over 130 miles.

What's the Process

Getting in touch

Contacting & Checking your eligibility.
‍Complete our brief online survey and we will check your grant eligibility for the OZEV Workplace scheme. The survey will also tell us about your proposed installation & charge point requirements.

Survey & Quotation

On-site Surveying.
‍We will carry out an on-site survey carried by one of our experienced engineers. From this we will learn more about what your site specific EV charging requirements are and what solutions we can offer your business. Providing us with all the relevant information to produce your bespoke quotation.

Applications & Notifications

OZEV WCS E-Voucher & Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
In order to claim the Workplace Charging Scheme grant on your behalf you will first need to apply to OZEV for your E-Voucher, this is a simple online application which we will be happy to guide you through if you are having any difficulties.
The DNO notification will be solely taken care of by ourselves, this is where we notify the DNO of your intention to install EV charge points at your premises and specific power requirements. We will need approval by them before we carry out your installation.

Installation & Support

We will install your chosen EV charging solution to your business in a timely and efficient manor working with you to prevent the least possible disruption to you or your business. Once installed you will receive all the relevant support and training to get you up and running.
